Glimpse of the studio
Some pictures of my new flat.
Inside
Outside
No pictures during house warming, because everyone was sort of, er, drunk.
North Point is quite special. It's relatively old, with lots of shops having been here for years. Also you can tell there are many "lo kai fong". You can find virtually anything you want in a tiny area. I guess it must be a very busy town when North Point Estate was still here.
We've definitely learnt some lessons through this apartment. Just to name a few:
1. don't think you're clever or you've met the dream house, until you invite some experienced people to look at it with you.
2. check the pipes. In HK, it means taps, toilet and how quick the water leaves the flat! And I mean how quick A LOT OF water leaves the flat.
3. check the deco carefully. There are too many made-in-china quickies.
4. don't buy 1st to 5th floor, unless it's a short building or a house.
5. bargain with your agent for commissions.
Sigh.
